A Grimoire is the book that sets your spells. The launch roster has 10 books, from Common Earth, Fire, Snow, and Water up to Mythic Anti-Magic. Update 1 announces more books, but their names were not on the records read here. Roll only at Grimoire Tower, and only with Mana Crystals.
Get to the tower
Finral in Hage Village offers teleports, and Grimoire Tower is one of the eight stops. The trip costs Yuls unless you own the pass that makes his teleports free. The free route is broom or walking: leave the starting village between compass headings 105 and 120, toward the tower near the Chain Bandit.
If the door is locked, the tutorial NPC beside it can give a key. Inside, use the red box on the platform. One Mana Crystal is one roll. The Hage Priest menu will not accept a crystal, and this box will not accept a Spin.
Read the pity counter in the room
Two pity tables are both in circulation. Do not average them.

A qualifying subscription is reported to cut the board's Legendary pity by 30%. Anti-Magic has also been shown as about 1 in 179 on a roll screen. That percent is not the pity counter. Use the numbers printed in your own tower UI, then keep rolling only if you still want a higher rarity than the book you are holding.
Archived header cards once listed rough odds from Common 50% down to Mythic 0.5%. Those cards were archived on 2026-10-01. Do not treat them as the live rate.
What the launch books actually list
Common through Rare books share an M1 of 21 that scales with Strength. Skills scale with Power. Snow Friends, Absolute Zero, and Chain Stun need 50 points. Snow Friends has a damage conflict on its own card, so that number is omitted here.

Battle Lightning's Thunder God and Elf Ascension awakenings are marked locked and in development. Nothing official says Elf Ascension requires the Elf race. The name is only a hint.
Changing books and the bag
There is a carry limit. The Grimoire Bag, reported at 469 Robux, is described as lifting a two-book limit so you can hold up to two copies of every Grimoire. The developer text does not say whether the default cap is two books total or one of each. Check your inventory before you roll a third time.
Paid bundles are separate from the tower. A Starter Bundle is described as including Poison, Chain, and Snow. The Big Starter Bundle, reported at 2599 Robux, is described as including Battle Lightning, Explosive Flame, and Anti-Magic. Regional prices can differ from the board price.
Which book to keep on a first character
Keep Anti-Magic or Poison if either appears. Keep Battle Lightning, Explosive Flame, or Ice if you cannot afford another crystal yet. Water, Snow, and Chain can clear early quests. Earth and Fire are the books players replace first, because their printed kits are short and later zones outscale them.
That order is an editorial read of the launch kits, not an official rank. Update 1 adds a Secret rarity and two Epic books whose names are still unpublished, so recheck the tower list before you delete a book you cannot recraft.
